Laton Lions Club

Community Relationships

Lion Telie Spurlock presented a  Laton Lions Club check for $1600 to the Womens Cancer Care Center in Fresno.

 They will be using the funds to help women needing cancer treatments to be transported for their doctors appointments.  We make this donation in honor of Lion Telie who has completed her treatments for breast cancer and we pray that she will continue to be cancer free.

We thank our Laton Lions Rodeo Fans for supporting the Laton Lions Club Tough Enough to Wear Pink fundraiser at our 58th Rodeo which allowed us to make this donation.


Laton Lions Club donated $500 to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of Eric Dewey who is a survivor. -2019

President Rick Myers presented a $1000 Check to Jessica Duarte from Valley Childrens Hospital -2019

The Laton Lions Club bull riding event in August 2017 was a great event and the club donated $1,000.00 to Valley Children’s hospital. Our president Rick Myers presented the check to Valley Children’s Healthcare.


Jessica Duarte stated during a club meeting,


“Incredible generosity shown by your club. I can’t tell you how humbling it was to see you all step up and want to reach that $1,000 mark for the Hospital”.
