Ages 14-17

Kimberlina Mauricio (2021-2022)

This is Kimberlina Mauricio, she was born and resides in Hanford, Ca. She is 14 years old, and is currently in the 9 th grade, at Hanford High School. Kimberlina is a very dedicated young woman who spends most of her time working or riding her horse Lego. Kimberlina works and boards her horse Lego at Lucky Horseshoe Ranch.

Deedee Flores

Deedee Flores is currently a senior at Golden West High School. Her hometown is Visalia, California. At 18 years old this young lady has overcome incredible obstacles. Her quiet soul has matched her firecracker of an Arabian- Gunner and have been an unbelievable team. She runs Gunner in purple at her local gymkhanas to help raise support and educated on her battles with epilepsy.

Julia Hackett

Julia Hackett from Tulare. She is 19 and is a freshman at College of the Sequoias pursuing a degree in Administration of Justice. She spends her free time riding with the COS Equestrian team and is an alumni member of the Visalia Rockettes.

Ages 8-13

Katelin Strange (2021-2022)

Katelin Strange is 13 years old from Tulare, California. She is in the 7th grade at California Connections Academy.  Katelin’s first love is horses, especially her horse Bandito. She loves competing on him at the Rockin Wranglers Gymkhana as well as Westfork Stables Gymkhana. When she isn’t spending time with her horse, she enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, going fast and jumping with her dad in their side by side, and riding behind her dad on his Harley. She dreams of someday running barrels in the NFR and becoming a veterinarian.

Macie Blevins

Macie Blevins, 13 years old from Lemoore, CA. Macie attends Alpine Vista Elementary School and Macie is a current member of the Visalia Rockettes Junior Drill Team. Laton Rodeo is the first Rodeo Macie participated in with her drill team. Macie is very excited to be a part of the 58th Annual Laton Lions Rodeo and is very thankful for this opportunity to participate in the Princess contest.  Macie is the daughter of Larry and Tammy Blevins and Amber Zuiderweg.

Natalie Willingham

Natalie Willingham is 10 years old in the 4th grade at Zion Lutheran School. Natalie started riding horses and taking lessons since she was 5 years old, and truly loves it. Natalie and her new horse Norman love to go to barrel races and gymkhana’s. Natalie also enjoys sleepovers and weekend trail rides with her friends. Natalie lives by the motto of being 1% better today than you were yesterday.

Cassidy Warner

Cassidy is 9 years old from Kalispell, Montana. She is in 3rd grad and loves horses, riding horses, and studying horses. She also loves to read, but mostly horse books. What a horse lover!

Serenity Jurecka

Serenity Jurecka is currently in 3rd grade enrolled at Heartland Charter School. Her hometown is Tulare, California. At only 8 years old she successfully trained her mare Harley to gymkhana events and broke her mini horse Beauty. She spends her time riding For TCC Drill team, multiple gymkhana/barrel racing associations, trail rides, and much more. She loves her horse before the sport!

Ages 5-7

Emmersyn Willingham

Emmersyn Willingham is 5 years old and lives in Porterville Ca, Emmersyn is in kindergarten at Zion Lutheran School and loves recess. Emmersyn loves all things horses from riding her horse Barbie at barrel races and gymkhana’s, to playing with her collection of schleich horses. Emmersyn’s goal for 2022 is to not need a lead line partner and ride Barbie all by herself at the barrel races.

Navaeh Nanez

Nevaeh Faith Nanez is 6 years old and a Bilingual student in Laton Elementary’s Dual Emersion Program. Navaeh is a resident of Laton and beyond blessed to have the opportunity to grow up in a small community like my parents. After school, she enjoys going on bike rides with her family, riding my quad, or playing sports. She is a pee wee cheerleader for Laton Youth Football and currently playing Baseball for Laton Youth Baseball. Her goals for the future are to continue to support her community, the Laton Rodeo, and to be open minded to new opportunities and experiences. Navaeh hopes to make our community proud as one of this year's Laton Jr Princesses. She has enjoyed this experience and would like to thank everyone who makes the Laton Rodeo possible.

Payton Coelho

Payton Coelho is 5 years old and  lives in Arroyo Grande, CA. Payton is involved in TK at Fairgrove Elementary. She loves horses and has started horse riding lessons recently. Payton’s favorite hobbies are riding her brother's bike and visiting her grandparents in Riverdale and Laton.

Andi Steitz

Andi’s birthday is April 30th and is currently 7 years old. Andi is in the 2nd Grade at Monroe Elementary in Hanford. Andi loves going to school and excels in all subjects. She loves spending her days with family, her brother Wyatt and everyone that she can call a friend. Andi has a caring heart and tries her best to be the best that she can be, whether that’s helping those around her or going out her way to make sure you have smiled today. Andi has a love for all animals and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. Andi’s hobbies include: racing BMX, drawing, dance, gymnastics, and spending time with her animals. Andi is the Great, Great Granddaughter of Henry Stowell, the President of the Laton Rodeo Association from 1949 until 1964 when the Laton Lions Club took over the Rodeo.

All contestants will be participating in the Laton Rodeo & Parade.  Winners will

represent our Laton Lions Club in other functions throughout their reign.
